Changing the menus

Every site will have at least one menu to help the user navigate around the site. There will usually be a main menu either at the top or left hand side of the website and maybe another menu within the footer.

Updating a menu using the easy to use menu manager

The menu manager is very easy to use, just select the menu to update and then use 'Drag and Drop' functionality to update it. This process is shown below.

The image below shows selecting the menu from a drop down list of the menus available for this site. If multilingual support is available then the language for the menu can also be selected.

Update the text or title for a menu item

Simply select a menu item from the list to update the text or title text for this menu item. The title text pops up when your mouse hovers over the menu item as shown.

On the right hand side of the page is a list of all the pages which are available, simply select an item and drag it onto the menu to add it.

Reordering a menu

If you want to change the order of a menu so a more important menu item appears first in the list , simply drag this menu item into its new position.

If you have a more complicated page text structure for example invlolving drop down menus is also possible to update the submenu by clicking on the submenu tab.
